While visiting the NC Museum of Life and Science one Valentine's Day holiday, I captured - WHO? - this handsome, sleepy Owl with both his eyes closed to the world and to me.

With his head cocked over to the side, his yellow beak stood out amidst all his distinctive black and white body feathers. (Click on photo to see the details.)

In this unplanned "Photo-Bomber" moment, I also "Shuttered" a picture that harkens me back to
a Charles Dickens classic, "A Christmas Carole".

I do make an eerie, Scroogian "Ghost of Photographer Present" - don't you agree?!

Fortunately, the winking Owl showed no signs of any fear for this holiday Ghost. "WHO, Me?!"
