To “branch out” for some stimulating senior citizen stereotypical, stress-relief, I started a new hobby by hanging up a big, bird feeder on the back porch. I loaded it up with premium birdseed.

Cardinals, doves, wrens, robins, black birds, mocking birds, … and even a woodpecker have all fed there. I enjoy watching these hungry little "peckers" devour each tiny morsel.

But there is also a grey squirrel that likes to Lazily stretch out on his white belly to SUNBATHE for a while on the porch handrail right below the bird feeder. (Click on photos)

This squirrel is obviously so tempted by the sweet succulent smelling seeds just above. His nostrils flare and his long, wispy tail wiggles as his sharp, squirrel brain plans his next moves to reach his stomach's desire.

Then this cute, athletic squirrel gymnastically reaches up to steal some birdseed from the hanging bird feeder container.

What a long, boarding-house REACH he has!

At first, we tried to scare Mr. Squirrel away. But, he just jumped down to the ground and hid out-of-sight around the corner of the building.

Sure enough, he keeps coming back after a few minutes or the next day for another UPSIDE-DOWN,
Grand-Theft Attempt!

Sorry, Mr. Squirrel! This is NOT a "squirrel feeder" hanging here! Leave some birdseed for the Birds!
