2009 - Paying Our Heartfelt Respects
by J. R. Beatty
We also went up to the military cemetery where my Dad, her Husband, had been buried 9 years before with all honors due to his Army service in WWII.
As my younger Brother and my wife supported my Mother across the uneven grass towards my Dad's Military Memorial Headstone, I captured this special photo that means a lot to me.
(Click on the photos to enlarge them.)
At that time her casket was buried on top of my Father's casket as a kind military cemetery option for veterans and their spouces.
My parents finally joined the many other folks of the "Greatest Generation". They all were effectively remembered as they rested in peace surrounded with many other headstones stretching to the dark "curtain-like" trees in the distance.
Now we can Pay Our Respects there at the military cemetery as well as in our own life actions and thoughts everyday!
a natural sight and also a comforting "sign".
A deer was seen happily leaping and running over the green grass through the white
Military Memorial Headstones.
The deer appeared to be respectfully watching over our loved ones 24/7 until the promised, God-scheduled, future Rapture Day - when we hope to all be together again with our Triune God in the Heavenly place He prepares for us to live with Him forevermore!
So Shy, So Hidden, So Deer, ... All So Dear !!
